“Is it THAT? As long as you can see neurodivergent characters or characters with a mental illness on TV that make you either laugh or awwww, that’s great, right, because it’s quirky, it’s inspirational, and you can say “Bless you!”… But when it needs your real empathy in daily life, it’s not? Because it’s not normal! They’re just faking it for attention! They just like to be victims!

Can you just stick your hypocrisy up you arse?”

As a neurodivergent person I totally agree!

And I want to tell you how much I despise the way most of these fictional characters are portrayed because they are often miles away from reality.I think what really helps is to gain more knowledge about what the life of a neurodiverse person or a person suffering from a mental illness is like. Even people who don’t want to hurt you often lack empathy and knowledge.

And then, of course, there are the unfriendly ones. I’m not an exhibit in a zoo or something to play with, or a nice opportunity for you to easily make fun of me. And don’t make the mistake of assuming that I don’t know what goes on in such occasions. I do know, and I would never be so rude or behave so cruelly and callously!

You lit a torch to bring some light for those who are suffering and help them to get the life they deserved! That’s so much better than choking on the anger. Well done!

Thank you, Deborah ❤️. It is one of my hopes to help make the world a tiny bit better place, for some at least.
